Week 45

Sunday, Nov. 3rd- Saturday, Nov. 9th

Daddy finished up his soccer season this weekend. We are so thankful to the Lord for a safe season and that they finished well. The memories and lesson learned this season will go with these students and my husband for the rest of their lives. Praise the Lord for His work in our lives!

Sunday-Monday

We are very excited to have our Daddy back, can you tell?

Levi is fixing up Daddy's boo-boos he got over the weekend, a rolled ankle and a gash on his leg.

A present from Daddy from his last trip:

Tuesday:

Checked out the Farm to Table Market at a local nursery today. So very excited to have some fresh produce in our neck of the woods. It has been very difficult to eat "real" in this part of the country, so nice to see some real food come our way! We got some fresh broccoli, wheat bread (with fewer than 5 ingredients, finally!), crab apple jelly, fresh apples and 10 lbs. of red potatoes. Yummy! (Oh and the boys got to split a cupcake that was made by a local bakery in town...decadent!)

Wednesday

Watching a DVD on the Bible, so Levi went and grabbed his Daddy's Bible to follow along with and of course, Si had to go get his.

Thursday:

Eating cereal like Daddy, as Levi says:

Making a mess with books, however, I don't mind.

Friday-Saturday

We had some family come in this weekend so I cooked up some fresh food from the market:

Roasted Broccoli- place broccoli in a storage bag with EVOO, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese and shake, shake, shake. Bake at 400 degrees until your desired of crispness, for us it was between 15-20 minutes. I did flip once during cooking.

Sausage, Kale and Potato Soup- recipe from Pioneer Woman, so this was yummy the first day, but definitely better the next!
