John, unfortunately had to work today. He does the first Sunday in June every year. He has to take what is called an OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care) refresher course for working at Alpine.
While he was gone I found Levi was watching me in the baby's room by using the monitor. What a smart little guy, it wasn't even near him so he got it on his own pressed the button on the top and here's how I found him!
Monday, June 4th
Went to the lake today. We flew kites and let Levi get in the water for the first time. It was still a bit chilly, but we'll be back. We had a really fun day outside and then went to DQ. Loving these fun, family days!
Tuesday, June 5th
Happy 32nd birthday, John!
He got to go fishing today and did amazing! Look at these guys!
Then off to dinner, here's Levi enjoying some bread (of course) at the restaurant.

Wednesday, June 6th
Took both boys to the Dr today for their well-baby check-ups. Levi did great! He usually freaks out and screams and cries the whole time, but he had his monkey with him so the nurse and dr did everything to monkey first, then we said "Levi's turn" and he sat through the examination perfectly! Monkey is going everytime! Here we all are in the waiting room:
Levi grew a lot in inches, but hasn't gained any weight in 6 months..."sigh". All the kid eats is oatmeal, bread, peanut butter, yogurt and fruit. And ONLY chicken from Chick-fil-a.:( Oh well, keep trying I guess!
Josiah on the other hand is our fatty! He gained almost 5 pounds and grew 2 inches in a month! He's in the 75th-90th percentile for weight! He should be he still eats every 2 hours...blah! However, we are still trying to figure out why he has so much congestion. He had it at birth but still has it which is strange. I call him my little piggy, but not because I think he's chunky, because he snorts so much! We have an appt scheduled with and ENT so hopefully we'll get some answers soon.

Later John fried up some of his trout, it was absolutely delicious, the fish had such a buttery texture and the panko breadcrumbs added just enough crunch! Awesome job, babe! You could be on Chopped!

Friday, June 8th
This was our wedding weekend, so Levi went to Grannie and Pa's for the night. He loves getting in Pa's truck:

Saturday, June 9th
Today we drove about 2 hours away to VA to attend a wedding of someone we have both known for about 9 years through ABC and Alpine. It was a gorgeous outdoor wedding and we really enjoyed it all. We're so happy for this couple! Congrats Ronnie and Janis!
