Update on John:
Daddy has been busy, busy, busy, coaching soccer lately. The Warriors have had a great season so far, he's very proud of them. Last Saturday at the Senior Game (last home game for the Seniors), John gave out character trait plaques to the seniors. It's always an emotional time for everyone, but this is what it's all about; developing spiritual character traits while glorifying God through playing soccer.
Sunday:
Enjoyed a family picnic outside today and brought out the water table for some water fun since it was 80 degrees today!!!
Monday - Friday
This was a tough week for all of us this week, I was out Tuesday night with Parent-Teacher Conferences so was John with an away game and then I was sick Wednesday night-on. We'll probably go into next week with this one too.
We Choose Virtues Week 3: I Am Helpful
Finally painted our pumpkins today, didn't turn out to hot, so Daddy helped us later when he got home. I come up with these crazy ideas, but Daddy is the one that can bring my dreams into reality!
Here's the finished pumpkin product with the "helper" hat. These work the same way the sails of kindness from last week. If they are demonstrating helpfulness they can put the hat on their pumpkin.
This has been a much easier virtue for my boys this week, they are both already really good helpers, we are blessed.
Look at Levi being helpful to his brother as he is reading to him. He really is too, he as this book memorized. This was so sweet to watch and listen to, love these boys.
