Country Roads: Week 22

Sunday, May 25th - Saturday, May 31st

Recovering from our wonderful beach trip this week, so thankful for Memorial Day to have another day:

Came back home to see some flowers blooming!

Pa and Gee stopped by to see their babies!

It's hard to unpack when there is a body lying on the suitcase.

Getting spoiled by our neighbors.

Got these plates off of Amazon and we are loving it. It is really helping ~~Mommy~~ the kids eat healthier. Seriously, though, I'm being much more intentional now at mealtimes and Levi and Si love to hear the "story" of their food: which one is a protein, which one is a fruit and vegetable. And we don't stop there, I look up the health benefits of the fruits and vegetables I give them and we talk about it. It sounds kinda silly, but it really is helping. Levi really doesn't like carrots, but he'll say now, he wants to see better so he eats one. Hey, I'll take it!:)

Si is copying Mommy and pretending Daddy's headlamp is a camera!

This was a gift from his soon-to-be preschool teacher. We went for a visit today to look around and she gave him one and one for his brother. It actually had a glass around it where you could color it, but both boys took it off and just wanted it "plain". Can't believe he'll be starting preschool in August. His main concern was that they didn't have automatic toilets...haha, the trials of a 4 year old.;)

Received a surprise visit this week from a dear "old" friend, so wished we lived closer and I'm so glad God had our paths cross when we were 14 and 16 or maybe 13 and 15, can't remember now!
