First Family Trip

Well, we did it! We made the trekk to Connecticut a few weeks ago! It was definitely an experience with a 3 month old and a dog! Not necessarily a bad one totally! We learned our little SUV is just a bit too small for our growing family. But in spite of all that we made it safely. Tara is very good when we travel, she just sleeps the whole time and that's pretty much what Levi did too! We traveled thru the night so it would work out that way! Levi only cried the last 10 minutes or so of the trip on the way up and not at all on the way back! I'm so proud!

Connecticut was great! Our goal was to see a lot of family and friends and introduce them to Levi while he was still a "baby". It was so nice to see everyone alot of aunts and uncles and close friends! We wish we weren't so far away!

John's parents were very hospitable to us during our stay, letting us steal away one night to have our second date!

Another huge reason we went up was to attend the Sharp Family Reunion in Rhode Island. We hadn't been in two years, so it was wonderful to see everyone and be encouraged by them. It's awesome so have the opportunity to see everyone like that, very few families have a big reunion like that every year. We are blessed!

Well, I think we might make another long trip possibly in the winter, Levi will be 7 months old then...but we'll see, we might have to get a different vehicle!:)
